The setting in a beach area was amazing and there were nearby convenience stores and shops, the room was cozy and had storage space along with a carpet.

The hotel is the best choice in Windermere. the staff is friendly and focused on customer service. - the meals were excellent and the drinks were cool. - the location is lovely, near other rivers and the closest golf course.

The delicious breakfast provided at Windermere House was amazing. Our room, which faced the garden, was amazingly comfortable. the staff were very obliging and nice. the hotel's exceptional location on the hill in the Muskoka chairs added to the overall experience.

The modest size of the hotel and the peace and quiet.
The room on the 3rd floor at the front of the hotel (driveway) was a little warm even with the ac unit on all the time on high.

The place was quaint and had nice and pleasant staff who were focused on customer service, liked the stay. It had great and gorgeous location, so close to a beautiful lake, the hill in the Muskoka chairs and the beach. It also was in the Muskoka area.

The air conditioning was not adequate..Room 323....Advance signage for the hotel on 141 and other hwys would make locating the hotel easier for people unfamiliar with the area.
